We've created this blog to answer the "How's Lola doing?" question. She's overcome meningitis, encephalitis, a five-month hospital stay, endless tests, hours of physio/OT/speech, and still, she has a smile on her face. Currently, we're battling the seizure monster - some days we don't win. She's still fighting. She's taught us so much about strength, and resiliency, and about loving our children just a little bit more.

Newest interest: video games....it was bound to happen eventually
Eating grapes. This pic is for Andrea, because her boyfriend is in the background.
way to go you brave little monkey! i love the way you laugh at her, Gill when she's getting the tube out. good to see she's still the drama queen. little Liam reminds me of uncle Sean in the top picture.
Thanks for putting up the pic of my man...still loving him..thank God I got over that Christian Slater stage before I had Cohen eh????(we could have had a third child called Slater) Lola looks great and I know you're all going through seizures and her falls and you all persevere. Love and prayers are always going out to you and the family and Lola is one strong wee girl and I just love the quote you have beneath her photo. When she is older and reads this blog(which you should have published as a book for her) she will realise her strength, where she got it from and what she will use it for . You are raising a beautiful family and I am sad for the struggles you are going through but also know you are one of the strongest people I know....strength and laughter ! God Bless.xoxoxxo
